Providing users with a plethora of choices, three series of double-level, high-temperature SMT-compatible PCB terminal block headers are available in a wide range of pin spacings and with high contact densities. The MCD 0.5-HT comes with a 2.5 mm pin spacing, and the MCD 1.5-THT has a 3.81 mm pin spacing header. Third in the series, the MCDN 1.5-THT is a low profile, high-density header on a 3.5 mm spacing. Each component is available in horizontal or vertical configurations with screw flanges or plastic locking latches as options. Reportedly, the terminal blocks are easily integrated into surface-mount production processes and thereby eliminate hand soldering. PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA. (800) 322-3225.
