The electrically-conductive ARclad 90038 and Flexshield 8269 tapes provide a shield against EMI in medical electronics. ARclad 90038 is a 2.4-mil, acrylic-based pressure-sensitive EMI shielding tape that features a 1-oz., tin-plated copper foil backing. Its shielding effectiveness ranges from 80 dB to 95 dB in the 1 GHz to 18 GHz frequency range. The tin-plated backing gains support via a polyester release liner that is easy to die-cut and apply. The Flexshield 8269 4-mil, pressure-sensitive EMI shielding tape features a metallized fabric carrier that provides a shielding effectiveness of 80 dB to 90 dB in the 1 GHz to 18 GHz frequency range.
