Reporting superior heat dissipation and one of the industry’s thinnest packages, the Moonstone ASMT-Mx00 series 1W LED emitter finds employment in a variety of architectural, garden, and decorative lighting applications. Encapsulated in a heat and UV-resistant silicone compound, the emitter is available in amber and red and offers a wide viewing angle. It measures 3.3 mm in height and installs easily using conventional surface-mount soldering techniques. With a drive current of 350 mA, the LED delivers up to 42 lumens with a 120-degree viewing angle. Other features include an exposed pad for reliable heat transfers, low thermal resistance, and greater than 8 kV of ESD protection. Price is $2.50 each in low quantities.
