C4AV’s 2Mp SOC Miniature Digital Camera Module utilizes Aptina Digital Clarity CMOS imaging technology

SoC Camera Module

C4AV’s 2Mp SOC Miniature Digital Camera Module is based on the Aptina Digital Clarity CMOS imaging technology. Its 2-Mpixel sensor has a resolution of 1600 by 1200 pixels. Also, its system-on-a-chip (SoC) design incorporates the CMOS image sensor module plus an on-chip Image Flow Processor (IFP) that can perform a range of functions including color recovery and correction, image sharpening, gamma, lens shading correction, on-the-fly defect correction, and 2X fixed zoom. It can handle image decimation to an arbitrary size with smooth, continuous pan and zoom. Further, it includes a real-time JPEG encoder. Image capture can be synchronized with Xenon and LED-type flashes. Its full-resolution frame rate is 15 frames/s (348 mW), or 30 frames/s in preview mode (223 mW).
