The company’s LED Engineering Kit is reportedly a powerful tool for testing LEDs with various accessories and applications while providing practical knowledge of LED lighting. The kit includes an OSRAM OSTAR high-power LED and components from various LED Light for You partners. These include two reflectors from Fraen with medium and narrow beam angles, and three lenses from Ledil: a wide angle lens, one spot lens, and a cat’s eye for side deflection. Also in the kit are Laird’s thermal interface materials for heat transfer, two heat sinks, one from Coolermaster and an aluminum plate, and an OSRAM Optotronic power supply for the European/Asian or NAFTA markets.
