OSRAM Opto Semiconductors now offers the Advanced Power TOPLED line of LEDs incorporating the company’s ThinFilm technology. These new products broaden OSRAM's high-power, surface-mount LED product family that serves a wide range of applications. The patented ThinFilm technology provides high efficiencies, making blue, green, and red LEDs for illuminated advertising and effect lighting even more striking.

The Advanced Power product line is 50% brighter than previous generations. At 140 mA, the LEDs have an output of 19 lm in green and amber, 15 lm in white and red, 14 lm in yellow, and 5 lm in blue. Thanks to its silicone encapsulation, the LEDs have a product lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. The parts also offer low thermal resistance.

The SMT package ensures that the LEDs are compatible with standard solder processes. In addition, the parts meet the high quality requirements of the automobile industry, is lead (Pb) free, and RoHS compliant.

The Advanced Power TOPLED is available in red (625 nm), amber (617 nm), yellow, true green, blue, and white. Contact the company for pricing and availability.
