The UB2 series of low-profile, power and logic-level rated pushbutton switches now offers features such as sculptured and beveled caps and optional splash covers. These enhancements to the single and bicolor LED illuminated switches are meant to increase visual and practical appeal. The sculptured caps have an indentation centered on top that allows the operator to automatically slip a finger into the correct center position for actuation. The beveled caps, constructed of a translucent colored polycarbonate, evenly diffuse the LEDs they accompany. The flat caps incorporate a clear lens with translucent colored diffusers. All three caps can be purchased in white, green, red and amber colors. The UB2 pushbuttons suit non-illuminated design requirements as well, as they are available sculptured with clear lens and colored inserts or beveled in an opaque color. Constructed of polycarbonate with a glossy finish, the caps can also be imprinted with legends. The switches can also be equipped with protective splash covers. And for applications requiring protection from accidental actuation, a protective guard that opens to a 90_ angle is available. NKK SWITCHES, Scottsdale, AZ. (480) 991-0942.
