Offered in a compact IP67 rated rectangular housing that enables them to fit into small spaces, the F1 series inductive sensors detect metallic objects in material handling or packaging applications. They are available in dc or ac/dc models all of which provide LED target-present indication with a shielded sensing range of 4 mm when flush mounted. The dc models are also available in an 8-mm unshielded, non-flush mount sensing range and are rated for 10 to 30 Vdc with three- and four-wire outputs. They operate at a switching frequency up to 1.4 kHz. The ac/dc models are rated for 20 to 250 Vac/dc and operate at a switching speed of 25 Hz. PEPPERL+FUCHS INC., Twinsburg, OH. (330) 486-0001.
