Said to be 50% smaller than similar devices, the new BRM 1010/1020 infrared receiver module series sports dimensions of just 7.4 mm x 4.65 mm x 7.98 mm. Utilizing the latest hybrid technology, the IR remote control system receivers feature a pin aide and a receiving preamplifier IC, with the modules said to be ideally suited for TVs, VCRs, audio equipment, air conditioners, car stereos, radios, toys, home computers, and any other equipment requiring remote control.Other features of the series includes through-hole leads for standard wave soldering processes, a remote reception capability of 940 nm at peak wavelength, and reception distances up to 12 meters at ray axis and six meters at 45¡ cone. Voltage ranges are from 4.5V to 5.5V for the Model 1010 and 2.7V to 5.5V for the Model 1020.
