LED Current-Level Indicator Features Preset Turn-On

April 1, 2000

The CR2530 current level indicator features a customer-specified, factory-adjusted, "turn-on" point for an attached snap-in panel mount LED. Its proprietary design contains a toroidal wound current transformer attached to a high efficiency LED. The non-contact, self-powered indicator easily slips over the current carrying wire that runs through its window opening. It will operate in 50 or 60 Hz systems. Positioning is achieved by use of a plastic tie or by looping the wire through the center of the indicator (opening is 0.31" in diameter). The indicator will accept up to one #8 AWG wire. The indicator itself glows when the current flowing is above the set point. Red or green LED indicators are available and a special panel mounting holder is supplied. Price for a standard CR2530 is $4 each in quantities of 1000.
