Delivering twice the brightness of the companys's previous generation devices, the TLWK1100B high-efficiency white LED provides luminous intensity levels of 1,500 mcd from a drive current of only 20 mA. Available in a standard PLCC2 surface-mount

Delivering twice the brightness of the companys's previous generation devices, the TLWK1100B high-efficiency white LED provides luminous intensity levels of 1,500 mcd from a drive current of only 20 mA. Available in a standard PLCC2 surface-mount package that measures 3.2 mm x 2.9 mm x 1.9 mm, the LED's high-brightness white light output is a result of a combination of a blue InGaN LED and yellow-emitting phosphor. The device offers efficient operation with maximum power dissipation of just 114 mW and typical forward voltage (VF) of 3.2V. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 100°C. Available now, samples are priced at $0.60/each. TOSHIBA AMERICA ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS INC., Irvine, CA. (408) 526-2400.
