A new line of low-profile, high-flux, through-hole LEDs is said to reduce the number of LEDs required to provide bright and uniform light distribution in aviation, marine, industrial and emergency sign applications.SuperFlux LEDs feature water clear lenses and provide 7,000 mcd luminous intensity at 70 mA current over a 65¡ or 85¡ viewing angle, depending on version.Measuring just 7.62 mm2, with a 4-mm high body, the LEDs can be mounted close together in clusters to fit a wide variety of illumination applications. Colors include green, yellow and orange, with the devices meeting SAE/ECE/JIS requirements. Pricing is from $0.30 each, depending on version and quantity.
