Featuring a wider, 5.1-mm slot to accommodate more applications, the OPB200 optically-triggered switch contains an 890 nm infrared LED and a phototransistor paired in an opaque plastic housing. The switch exhibits a forward voltage of 1.7V at an IF of 20 mA with a reverse current of 100 µA at a VR of 2V. Collector-emitter breakdown voltage is 30V at an IC of 1 mA with an emitter-collector breakdown voltage of 5V at an IE of 100 µA. Collector dark current is 100 nA and collector-emitter saturation voltage is 0.4V. On-state collector current varies from 1 mA to 6 mA and operating temperature range is from -40°C to +85°C.
