Multi-Port Distribution Box Saves Space

Oct. 1, 2000

The amount of cabling and space required to wire a machine or control panel is said to be greatly reduced with the MVP12 passive distribution box. The unit allows for quick and easy hook-up of sensors, actuators, photoelectrics and valves. Rated to IP67 and available with 4, 6 or 8 ports in 4- or 5-pole versions, the box features a connector with hi-flex cable suitable for cable track applications. It also features LED power and signal indicators. Optional power isolation permits each side of the box to be powered separately. A new construction housing design makes installation easier, allows for different lengths and types of cable, and permits rapid replacement if the cable is damaged. A built-in quick-disconnect feature makes disassembly for transport easier when the unit is used on larger systems.
