Featuring a high Q factor, the KQ 0603 open-type series chip inductor is suitable for signal-line filtering applications. The device's flat-top design allows for automatic placement and its electrical and mechanical characteristics enable it to be used as a replacement for other open-type inductors. The device, which is suited for applications in automotive, computer and telecommunication circuitry, is available in tolerances of ±5% and ±10%, with a nominal inductance range of 1.8 to 120 nH. The components are available in bulk packaging or on tape-and-reel (200 pieces/bag or 2000 pieces/reel standard).
