Enhancing the KP Series illuminated pushbutton switches, recent additions include silent or audible actuation components with shorter strokes, making them suitable for audio/video applications. The switches rely on high-quality LEDs for reliable color matching and creating custom control panels with specific colors. The KP series comes standard with red/green LEDs, tunable to produce amber. The switches also feature a unique actuation guide to ensure positive indication of circuit transfer and a snap-in standoff for secure PCB mounting and alignment. Three cap sizes are available, 12 mm, 15 mm, or 17.4 mm, including a home key with a small divot in the center of the cap. Specs include a maximum current rating of 100 mA at 12 Vdc and a lifespan of five million operations minimum. NKK SWITCHES, Scottsdale, AZ. (480) 991-0942.
