A new magnetic-latching, TO-5 electromechanical relay has been designed for broadband applications. The GRF342 relay is an ultraminiature, hermetically sealed, surface-mount relay with a butt-lead mounting scheme. An RF ground shield isolates and shields each lead to ensure excellent contact-to-contact and pole-to-pole isolation. Two coil voltages are available: 5V dc and 12V dc. Measuring 9.53 mm in diameter by 8.13 mm high and weighing 0.1 oz., the GRF342 is suitable for use in shock, vibration and extreme temperature environments. Applications include RF attenuators, RF switch matrices, ATE and others requiring dependable high-frequency signal fidelity and performance. Pricing is $33.86 each/500.
