Keeping a 3.5 mm x 3.5 mm x 1.2 mm profile in PLCC2 Plus packages, the VLMx51 series surface-mount power LEDs come in red, amber, yellow, and white. Built on InGan and AllnGaP-on-silicon technology, the VLMR51, VLMK51, VLMY51, and VLMW51 offer luminous flux levels from 8.5 lm to 30.6 lm and luminous intensities from 2,850 mcd to 9,750 mcd. They specify junction-to-ambient thermal resistances down to 100 K/W and power dissipations up to 738 mW, enabling drive currents up to 200 mA. Other features include a 60° angle of half-intensity and a luminous flux ratio per packing unit of less than 1.6.
