WEBENCH Designer design and prototyping tool

The WEBENCH Designer design and prototyping tool aids in the design of power supplies, dc/dc converters, and LED driver circuits. Via an optimization tool, it allows users to fine-tune switching power supply and LED driver designs and solves problems before building the prototype. The toolset is also viable for device selection, i.e., locating the optimal switching regulator and inductors for the specific application. The tool accesses over 1,900 of the company’s inductors. Parametric values cover a wide range including inductances from 0.1 µH to 15,000 µH, DCR’s from 2 m? to 168?, and current ratings from 20 mA up to 46A. WEBENCH Designer is accessible on the company’s website. BOURNS INC., Riverside, CA. (951) 784-3100.
