The HSMW-A10xx and HSMW-A40xx are a family of white LEDs with a surface mount form factor. These LEDs are drop-in replacements for Osram TopLED and Power TopLED used in automotive interior lighting applications. The LEDs provide a 120° viewing angle, making them ideal for panel, push-button, or backlighting applications in automotive interiors. Other features such as a flat top-emitting surface and built-in reflector make it suitable for uses such as vanity mirror lights, cabin/dome lights, and car-door puddle lights. Non-automotive applications include general backlighting, message signs, and ambient lighting. Operating at 20 mA, the LEDs provide a minimum luminous intensity ranging from 100 to 250 mcd. The LEDs function in a range of -40°C to +100°C and are packed in EIA-compliant tape and reel. Prices range from $0.23 to $0.34 in high volume and lead-time is four weeks.
