The PY1114CK thin surface-mount LED functions as a light source for applications requiring minimal space. It's specifically designed for backlighting keypads and other types of switches. Made with gallium-phosphorous (GaP) die material, the LED comes in yellow-green with a milky white lens. Other colors will soon be available. Luminous intensity typically measures 5.6 mcd and forward voltage typically measures 2.1 V, both with an IF of 10 mA. Reverse current IR measures 100 µA maximum with a VR of 4 V. The PY1114CK operates from 40°C to 85°C. It is available in tape-and-reel packaging. Pricing is $0.027 each in small quantities.
