Toolkit Promises To End Product Data Management Isolation

Communications between Product Data Management (PDM) systems is made possible with the release of a new toolkit. The software is designed to help engineers and manufacturers cut lead times and speed development cycles by using common standards and communication protocols to allow remote access and manipulation of data, as well and immediate data transfer. The toolkit supports both UNIX and Windows for the CORBA and PDM Enablers standard and is said to be capable of automatically generating some 70% of the total server end code.
