A new power supply has been designed to meet the space and performance needs in 1U requirement telecommunication, industrial control and embedded systems applications. The USP225 high density U-channel switching power supply yields output power of 225W in a 1U height-compliant package. All models accept universal input from 85 to 264 Vac with active power factor correction. Six models provide single outputs from 3.3 to 48 Vdc. All models have soft-start circuitry and integral EMI filtering to meet EN61000 requirements. The USP225 includes an integral power-good LED indicator and an output adjustment potentiometer. Operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +50°C without derating. The supply also contains over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuitry as well as Molex-style I/O connections. Dimensions are 8"L x 4"W x 1.5"H. Pricing is $69 each/100. ASTRODYNE, Taunton, MA. (800) 823-8080.
