UPS Modules Minimize Down Time

By shielding complex automation systems and components from common disturbances such as voltage fluctuations, harmonic distortion, and outages, the 787 Series uninterruptible power supply (UPS) modules promise to keep down time at an absolute minimum. Recent additions to the series include a UPS controller, buffer, and redundancy modules. Encapsulated in metal, DIN-rail mount housings, each module includes three LEDs and at least one signal output status LED depending on the model. Also, the modules enlist the company’s CAGE CLAMP spring-pressure connection technology. They come with configuration and monitoring software for creating custom configurations, diagnostics, and monitoring. In addition to free software, the UPS controller operates at a 95% efficiency and over a temperature range from -10°C to +60°C. During shorter power interruptions such as brownouts, the 787 Series buffer module protects data while the 787 Series redundancy modules safeguard two power supplies that are parallel-connected to provide system redundancy or additional power.
