Transformers Meet Medical, Dental Rules

Oct. 1, 1999

Meeting all domestic UL and international VDE, IEC, CSA transformer requirements for power isolation in medical and dental applications, the M4L (More-4-Less) series of high-power isolation transformers is designed with low-loss steel, high-temperature magnet wire, and high-temperature bobbins and shroud. The result is a small, light transformer. The units' construction enables them to surpass the UL 544 spec for patient and non-patient connected medical and dental equipment. Transformers include screw-type or quick-connect terminals, 100V/115V/200V inputs, 115V output and three VA power ratings of 300V, 600V and 1000V.
