Assuming position as the memory market's highest density DIMMs, the EBE21RD4ABHA-xx DDR2 modules provide 2 GB of memory and data transfer rates up to 4.3 GB/s. Exploiting the company's stacked BGA (sBGA) technology, the 240-pin modules measure just 4.8-mm thick. They are organized as 256-M words x 72 bits x 2 banks and contain 36 0.11-µm 512-Mb DDR2 devices. The mounted devices have CAS latencies of 3, 4, and 5 with burst lengths of 4 and 8. The DIMM modules have a JEDEC-compliant outline, include support for error checking and correction (ECC), and operate from a 1.8V supply with what is reported as half the power consumption of DDR devices.
