The company's new 64-Mb, fast-cycle RAM (FCRAM) with single data rate (SDR) interface features a hidden pre-charge operation that enables zero-wait cycle at random access operation. The new devices feature 35 ns of RAS access time and 39 ns of RAS cycle time. Initially introduced as a solution for graphics and multimedia applications, the FCRAM is said to be suitable for a variety of diverse applications including memory arrays. Two models, the MB81E643242-13 and the MB81E643242-15, operate on 3.3V, interface via LVTTL, and are available in a TSOP, 86-pin package. The MB81E-643242-13 provides a clock speed of 75 MHz and the other offers a 66-MHz clock speed. Pricing is $30 each.
