A line of SDRAM modules offering capacities of from 256 MB to a maximum of 1 GB have been deveoped for use in IBM's Netfinity 8500R Server PCs, which have a maximum memory capacity of 32 GB. The modules synchronize themselves with the system clock that controls the CPU, eliminating time delays while allowing bandwidths up to 100 MHz. Three modules, the 504674RC-PC100/R3, 504374RH-PC100/R3 and 504574RH-PC100/R3, provide capacities of 128, 256 and 512 MB and cost $400, $640 and $1403, respectively.
