Offered as a drop-in replacement for hard-disk drives in most mainstream notebook computers, the company expands its solid-state disk line with a 32-GB, 2.5" SATA model. The unit fits in the same internal slot as 2.5" hard disks, eliminating the need for notebook manufacturers to alter hardware designs. Features include a MTBF of two million hours, sustained read rate of 67 MB/s, random read rate of 7,000 inputs/outputs per second for a 512-byte transfer, and a power consumption of 0.9W during operation.
