Four of the company's 256-Kbit non-volatile SRAMs have been integrated into a compact, 600-mil, 32-pin 800 dual-in-line module. Available in both commercial and industrial temperature range versions, as well as in two speed versions (45 and 55 ns), STK25CA8 1-Mbit nvSRAMs feature unlimited read, write and recall cycles. The 1-Mbit nvSRAMs can replace 128 x 8 SRAMs, battery-backed RAMs, or EEPROMs. The modules, as well as all other of the firm's nvSRAM products, employ a recently developed technology that is said to dramatically improve the memories' data retention and endurance capabilities.
