A new family of high-speed 1 Mb and 4 Mb asynchronous SRAMs feature very low standby and operating currents. The 1Mb asynchronous SRAM, featuring a typical operating current of less than 90 mA and a typical standby current of less than 1 mA, is available in both x8 and x16 configurations. Both the x8 (IS63LV1024L) and x16 (IS61LV6416L) operate at 8 ns speeds. The 4 Mb asynchronous SRAM, featuring a typical operating current of less than 100 mA and typical standby current of less than 2 mA, is offered in the x16 configuration only. The IS61LV25616L operates at 10 ns speeds. Targeted at applications requiring high-speed with low-power consumption, the SRAMs are well-suited for PDAs, POS terminals and other handheld applications. Pricing for the 1 Mb SRAMs is $1.95 each/10,000 and for the 4 Mb SRAM is $6.00. Samples are available now, with volume production shipments beginning in Q2 2002.
