Designed to provide high-speed processing, low power consumption, and an IrDA interface for portable devices, the TMP91CW12F µC joins the TLCS-900L/1 line of 16-bit microcontrollers. The device operates at voltage levels between 2.7V and 5.5V with dual clocks of 16 MHz and 32 MHz, five clock gear levels and three standby modes to cut power draw. On-chip memory includes 128 kbytes of ROM and 4 kbytes of RAM. On-chip peripherals include four channels of micro-Direct Memory Access, eight 10-bit A/D converter channels, eight 8-bit timers and two 16-bit timers.
