Cables Feature Tight Sealing

Special jacketing designs, swelling fillers or tapes, and unique coating materials are used by these cables to withstand creeping moisture and avoid potential water damage. The waterproof cables are targeted for use in underwater or marine settings, as well as in industrial outdoor operations, including fiber optics systems and mobile broadcasting units. The taylor-made cables can be made watertight by incorporating swelling fillers and special sealing tapes, with the sealants consisting of non-wovens loaded with polyacrylate powder, which will swell instantly if attacked by water. The cables can be designed and built in order volumes starting at lengths of 100m. From analysis to delivery, the entire process takes no more than three to six weeks.
