A COM Express Mini Type 10 module developed by congatec, measuring 55 by 84 mm, is based on the Intel AtomT E3800 processor series. The conga-MA3 comes in four different Atom processor-based versions, ranging from the entry-level, single-core, 1.46-GHz Atom E3815 that consumes 5 W to the quad-core, 1.91-GHz Atom E3845 with 10-W max power consumption. The Type 10 module pinout, a refresh of Type 1, uses the single 220-pin A-B connector. It provides up to 8 Gbytes of DDR3L with options for onboard eMMC that supports an integrated wear leveling feature for high data security. Graphics supports DirectX 11, OpenGL 3.2, OpenCL 1.2, and high-performance, flexible hardware to decode multiple high-resolution full HD videos in parallel. The processor natively supports up to 2560 by 1600 pixels with DisplayPort and 1920 by 1200 pixels with HDMI. Up to two independent display interfaces can be connected (one via a 24-bit LVDS output). I/O includes seven USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, four 5-Gbit/s PCI Express 2.0 lanes, and two SATA interfaces (up to 3 Gbits/s). To integrate legacy I/O interfaces, there’s ACPI 5.0, an I2C bus, and LPC bus.
