    60-V MOSFETs Added To StrongIRFET Family

    To address industrial application needs, International Rectifier added 60-V power MOSFETs to its StrongIRFET family.

    To address industrial application needs, International Rectifier added 60-V power MOSFETs to its StrongIRFET family. The devices maintain ultra-low on-state resistance (RDS(ON)) to improve performance in low-frequency applications. Other features include high current-carrying capability, soft body diode, and 3-V typical threshold voltage to enhance noise immunity. Each MOSFET is 100% avalanche tested for robustness required in industrial systems. Packaging options include through-hole and surface-mount D2PAKs. Applications range from power tools and light-electric-vehicle inverters to dc motor drivers, Li-Ion battery-pack protection, and switched-mode power-supply (SMPS) secondary-side synchronous rectification.
