Hoofddorp, Netherlands: Murata has opened a new sales and marketing office in New Delhi. In addition, Murata Electronics (India) Private Limited will open a sales agency business in the major southern city of Chennai as an initiative to develop emerging markets and to expand sales channels.
The new offices will allow Murata Electronics to conduct sales to major customers in India and develop marketing activities from the company’s two southern and northern sales bases. Murata says that many of the head office functions of its major customers are based in the New Delhi suburbs of Gurgaon and Noida.
