Start-up company Confero Solutions has been formed to serve the growing integration motion control marketplace. The King of Prussia, Pennsylvania-based company is currently developing advanced precision sensing and motion solutions, as well as building and designing custom precision sensing and motion systems for OEMs. "Our mission is to provide leading-edge solutions in the fields of optical sensing, motion control and robotics, with highly-engineered precision mechatronic and optotronic systems," David Beatson, company president, said in a statement. Beatson said Confero will step in to serve semiconductor makers who don't have access to the level of resources and technology required to custom design systems to satisfy customer requirements. The company is currently developing two integrated motion systems and will collaborate with several universities and affiliated companies to develop integrated force sensing and integrated vision systems solutions. Confero, Latin for "to bring or put together," is made of technical solutions teams that include leading systems design and integration engineers, in addition to design, planning and development experts from a network of allied component manufacturers.
