To keep engineers and maintenance professionals informed of the latest technologies available to them, Newark, a multi-channel distributor within the Premier Farnell Group, has launched a dedicated new products portal on its Web site. Newark will update the portal weekly, adding new products, suppliers, and innovations.

For its inaugural week, the portal is featuring such new technologies as the Analog Devices TMP05 monitoring system; products from a new supplier, Integrated Silicon Solution Inc.; and Lambda’s new PFE series ac-dc power modules. Each product listing includes a detailed description, a datasheet, pricing, and availability. In addition, Newark is offering an introductory 10% web discount on many of its newly introduced products through Mar. 31, 2008. Eligible products are flagged on the portal (www.newark.com).

“As part of our Technology First initiative, we’re continually adding innovative products each week, along with critical technical information,” said Barry Litwin, Newark’s senior VP for marketing. “The new products portal underscores our commitment to deliver the widest selection of new technologies, suppliers, and products to keep our customers current and informed.”
