Tek, LitePoint Partner To Create Complete WiMAX Test Solution

Tektronix and LitePoint Corp. have teamed up to create an "end-to-end" test solution for WiMAX.

T&M manufacturer Tektronix and LitePoint Corp., which supplies advanced wireless test solutions, have teamed up to create an "end-to-end" test solution for WiMAX. The program, including new tools for trouble-shooting WiMAX application design using a Tektronix Real-Time Spectrum Analyzer (RTSA), will address the full value chain of test needs from pre-development to final production test. The companies were scheduled to demonstrate the WiMAX capability at a special seminar at the WiMAX World USA conference in Boston this week. LitePoint is demonstrating its test software in conjunction with the Tektronix RSA3408A RTSA. The companies will perform time- and frequency-domain measurements needed to decompose signals and uncover anomalies and to provide in-depth analysis for trouble-shooting WiMAX applications at the design stage.
