Toyota Quality Award Goes To Infineon

Neubiberg, Germany and Tokyo, Japan: Japanese car manufacturer Toyota presented Infineon with the ”Best of Excellent Quality Award 2009” for its product quality.

Neubiberg, Germany and Tokyo, Japan: Japanese car manufacturer Toyota presented Infineon with the ”Best of Excellent Quality Award 2009” for its product quality. This represents the first time that a non- Japanese company has won this award. Infineon is the only recipient of the award this year.

The German chipmaker was recognised for providing CAN transceivers with zero-defect quality for three years running to the Toyota Hirose plant, where electronics components for Toyota vehicles are developed and manufactured.
