Making somewhat of a comeback, the RC1 series re-debuts as a true 1W carbon composition resistor to accompany the company?s existing 0.25W and 0.5W carbon composition resistor offerings. Resistance values range from 2.2? to 1 M? in tolerances to ±10%, each rated for 500V continuous and 1 kV maximum. The resistor?s construction consists of a resistive element with carbon-based conductors and resin binders and a color-banded, molded jacket to combat the introduction of moisture and tolerate rough handling during installation.
