Intended for use in switched-mode power supplies, 501 series common mode chokes are said to provide excellent attenuation of common mode noise at frequencies from 100 kHz to 30 MHz. The chokes come in two package styles: a low-profile surface-mount package that is compatible with pick-and-place equipment, and a larger through-hole package that offers greater attenuation and is also compatible with pick-and-place equipment. Inductance range is 79 to 2812 mH for the series.
