Measuring 6.4 mm x 12.8 mm x 2.5 mm, the BCS8 series surface-mount, current-sense resistors specify power ratings up to 8W with a temperature rating of 175°C and TCRs as low as 30 ppm/°C. The resistors are constructed using a low-resistance, low-inductance, high-impulse proprietary metal element that gives the devices their extended power and temperature ratings. Features include a current rating of 90A at 1 mW, maximum current of 126A for 2.5s once, and a series inductance of 5 nH. Resistance range is from 0.5 mΩ to 5 mΩ with tolerances as low as ±1%.
