Current-Sensing Resistors Impede Corrosion And Heat

Made of a metal alloy that resists heat and corrosion, the surface-mount TLR series chip-type metal plate resistors are suitable for applications demanding a more durable, pulse-resistant design, such as for handling current sensing and voltage divider assignments. Since they are untrimmed, TLR resistors provide low inductance and high frequency capabilities. Resistances ranging from 1 milliohm to 4 megohms can be achieved. Standard tolerances are ±1% and ±5%. Power rating is 1W up to 70°C, with derated power at higher temperatures dependent on chosen resistance values. Maximum TCR for the TLRs is ±150 ppm/°C or ±200 ppm/°C.
