Announced as the world’s smallest current-compensated, data-line chokes for automotive electronics, the SIMDAD 1201 components measure 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm. Translating into a volume reduction of more than 50% when compared 1812-size chokes, the components maintain reliable electrical and mechanical parameters. Inductance values range from 11 ?H to 100 µH and continuous operating temperature is up to 150?C. The chokes are lead free, RoHS compliant, and qualification to AEC-Q200 is pending. Additionally, they satisfy all requirements of CAN and FlexRay bus systems. Pricing starts at $0.50 each/1,000. EPCOS INC., Iselin, NJ. (800) 888-7728.
