Expanding the BestCap series is an ultra-low ESR double layer capacitor with an expanded temperature range from -40ºC to 75ºC. Groomed for wireless applications, the capacitor series features high capacitance values and power pulse characteristics for high-current, short-pulse applications including GSM /GPRS wireless based systems, USB modems, automatic meter reading systems, hand-held scanners, battery chatter, dying gasp, and memory back-up systems. The double layer capacitors are available in three standard sizes with voltage ratings from 3V to 15V and capacitances from 6.8 mF to 1F. Pricing starts at $2.90 each. AVX CORP., Myrtle Beach, SC.
