Electrolytics Shrug Off Shock And Vibration

Oct. 8, 2008
Standing up to the rigors of vibration and impact common to automotive designs, the B41605 and B41607 aluminum electrolytic capacitors pass all vibration tests up to 30g and 2 kHz, even after prolonged thermal stress beyond 2,000 hours at 125°C.

Standing up to the rigors of vibration and impact common to automotive designs, the B41605 and B41607 aluminum electrolytic capacitors pass all vibration tests up to 30g and 2 kHz, even after prolonged thermal stress beyond 2,000 hours at 125°C. The capacitors specify maximum operating voltages from 25V to 63V and are available in values from 1,100 µF to 6,800 µF. Other features include a ripple-current specification of 13A at 10 kHz/105°C, at which they exhibit a life span of 20,000 hours. EPCOS INC., Iselin, NJ. (732) 906-4300.
