GPS Antenna Sets Size Benchmark

Feb. 19, 2010
Claiming to be the smallest in the industry, the latest RadiEdge GPS antenna measures 3.2 mm x 1.6 mm x 0.5 mm
Claiming to be the smallest in the industry, the latest RadiEdge GPS antenna measures 3.2 mm x 1.6 mm x 0.5 mm, approximately 87% smaller in volume and 69% shorter in height than its predecessor, the 8 mm x 1.6 mm x 1.6 mm AF816M157502. The lower profile EIA 1206 size antenna promotes the development of smaller and slimmer GPS-ready mobile phones, smartphones, and portable navigation devices while improving the flexibility of antenna placement. The AF816M157502 chip antenna could only be mounted to the corner of a substrate for GPS-ready devices. Sample price for the AH316M157501 is $3/each. TAIYO YUDEN INC., Schaumburg, IL.
