With an effective permeability of 10,000 at frequencies better than 100 kHz and low eddy-current losses, the 3E6 toroids combine these features to provide better response to high-frequency pulses than toroids in conventional materials. By combining high permeability even at frequencies above 100 kHz with low eddy-current losses, the devices can overcome many of the design limitations associated with conventional tools, it's claimed.
High permeability ferrite torroids are used mainly in wideband transformers and common-mode chokes. The devices also feature higher levels at frequencies around 1 MHz. Call for pricing.
