The new 0603HC series of wire-wound ceramic inductors feature continuous current ratings of up to 2.4A dc and can handle transient currents up to 50% higher. And they are available with inductance ratings from 1.6 to 24 nH. At low values, their Q factors are also higher than the companyÕs existing 0603 chip coils. With their high current ratings and ultra-small size, the inductors are suitable for todayÕs high frequency, low voltage applications like mobile phones. Cost for a typical ±5% value is $0.29 each/10,000.
